Ah yes, another fine EP of pop punk from Bicester’s No-Where Fast. This is a 5 track follow up to ‘Dance Of Death.’ The first track, ‘Oops I Slipped’ is a pop punk tune carrying on from where they left off in ‘Dance Of Death.’ The vocals in this tune are very powerful and are truly great as they have really defined their sound now and improved greatly on something which I thought could not be any greater! The drumming is extremely good and also very fast and there is a really cool guitar riff as well. The second track, ‘So Long’ is also a cool pop punk tune with strong vocals and a good beat to it. Their sound is now much more melodic and they seem to be more comfortable and know exactly what they are trying to achieve. The third track, ‘Emo Day’ I feel is not as good as the other tracks on this CD as it seems to lack the x-factor that makes the other tunes so exciting and as it is such a long tune it just seems to drag on and on. The fourth track, ‘Love Bite’ is like the first two, full of life and a treat to listen to with an uplifting beat and strong vocals. The guitar seems to come through really strong on this song and the drumming has a steady beat and comes through really well. The fifth and final track, ‘Letters To The Dead’ is awesomely melodic and the vocals are really great as they are extremely powerful and tuneful. This song has the energy and spirit which I so badly wanted to hear in ‘Emo Day’ but was sadly deprived of. It is an exciting and interesting track with a great guitar riff and awesome drumming beat – a great choice for the song to end the EP with. This is a superb follow up to ‘Dance Of Death’ and really shows what the band are capable of. This band are a bunch of truly great musicians and it shows that the English can do pop punk far better than any American can!
