This is a 4 track EP from the great Alt Rock/Metal band that is Five Days Of Static – they are an awesome band and are really cool guys as well! They are from Ellesmere Port and are well worth listening to.
This four track EP offers up some great tunes – right from the word go! The first track, ‘In The Company Of One’ is an absolutely amazing tune with great lyrics, amazingly melodic vocals, a good drum beat, slick guitar playing and a cool little musical breakdown about half way through. The vocals disappear for a good 20 seconds before you get launched back in to them again and they are absolutely amazingly done. I love the way that they have done this as the sound that they have created in doing it is truly amazing. Before now I had never heard this band play before and up until a couple of weeks before that didn’t even know that the band existed – but I’m glad that I know of their existence now as they are a truly awesome band and if I had missed out of them then it would have been a great loss! The vocalist here has a lot of talent with his great melodic rocky take on the vocals and this works well with the fast drum pace and storming bass lines – not to mention the fiery guitars! I really like what this band two as on this four track EP they demonstrate to me a band that have good song writing skills, play their instruments well, and have a strong passion for the music that they produce. This little EP clocks in at just over 12 minutes but these are a good 12 minutes that will leave you glad that you have spent your hard earned cash on this band! Four tracks of great songs that will have you singing along and nodding your head to the brilliant drum beats.
So if you are into melodic rock vocals, with fiery metallic guitar riffs, and fast as hell drumming then this is definitely the sort of band that you ought to be checking out – this is a strong, young British act with a bag full of talent! It is the younger bands that need your support as if they don’t get it then they are sure to last no more than 5 minutes – so make sure you all check this band out and try and get to one of their gigs in the future!
