The Thirst is a band that truth be told does very little for me. The music isn’t bad, but it’s not greatly memorable and it just really washes over me without leaving much of a lasting impression whatsoever. In the single ‘Sail Away’ the band prove themselves to be quite catchy with the chorus here, but ultimately this music isn’t particularly impressive and after only a couple of listens I find myself to be more than a little tired of the track. I’d be happy to listen to music of this sort on the radio, and it’s okay in small doses but to listen to a whole album of this wouldn’t be particularly appealing to me at all. I can see why some people might love this band, but they’re not a band for me really, the music just isn’t powerful enough to hold my interest and keep me captivated.
