Ryan Reynolds has bagged the lead role in Warner Bros. Green Lantern. Justin Timberlake and Bradley Cooper were both also up for the part; Ryan Reynolds is the man that has been chosen though, and will therefore play the role of Hal Jordan.
Reynolds seems to be an excellent choice for the part, and with Ryan Reynolds as the star; Warner Bros. live-action version of Green Lantern should most definitely be a huge success. I’ve long been a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds, and this role will really give him a great opportunity to show the world what he’s made of, starring in a film which will surely be excellent.
Green Lantern is due to begin filming in January, and the film is currently expected to hit the cinemas in June 2011.
