‘I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)’ is the second single from Pitbull’s upcoming ‘Rebelution’ album. It’s a very simple track with a basic beat and repetitive lyrics; despite the basic nature of the beat, this area of the track is still pretty impressive however, and most definitely what stands out most about the music. For me the lyrics have far too little to offer though and this therefore limits the overall listening pleasure that I get from the track.
With more adventurous lyrics this track I feel could be far more effective; limited lyrics or not however, ‘I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)’ is sure to be a huge hit throughout the summer, and will no doubt be played at many a nightclub throughout the course of the coming weeks and months.
‘I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)’ sees Pitbull continue to combine hip-hop with dance, and it’ll be interesting to hear what his ‘Rebelution’ album has to offer when it’s released later this year.
