Dirty Dancing and Ghost star Patrick Swayze has sadly passed away at the age of 57. Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer back in January 2008, and yesterday his battle with the cancer came to an end as he died in the company of his family.
Swayze had an excellent acting career which began back in 1978, and his final role was to be in the 2009 A&E TV series The Beast, a show which first aired in January 2009.
The world has sadly now lost a very bright acting star, and already a number of people have come forward to pay tribute to Patrick Swayze, including Demi Moore who played his fiancée in Ghost, and also his Dirty Dancing co-star Jennifer Grey.
