With 96 acceleration, 95 sprint speed, and 82 finishing, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is an incredibly speedy player to pick up in FIFA Ultimate Team 14 that is also extremely capable when it comes to taking chances. He’s set as a striker as standard in FUT and performs this role extremely well, using a position modifier to change his position to the wing could definitely prove a powerful move as well though and is definitely something to consider if you’re short on wide players but feel fairly settled with your front line.
Whilst speed is not as big a factor in FIFA 14 as it was in FIFA 13 and strength can now go a long way, Aubameyang also has a 71 rating for strength which makes him an incredibly useful player to have upfront. He can definitely hold his own in the strength department, has 81 for positioning and 82 for reactions; he performs well in all key areas and is therefore a far better player than his overall 80 rating would have you believe.
Having played with numerous different strikers in FIFA 14, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has definitely become one of my very favourites. Bayern Munich’s Mario Mandzuckic is one of my very favourite Bundesliga strikers in FIFA 14 and easily beats Aubameyang in several key areas such as strength, heading accuracy, and penalty taking, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s extreme speed though he can be an incredibly tricky player to play against and should certainly be held under strong consideration.
If he just had speed without much ability to back it up then Aubameyang wouldn’t be much of a FUT 14 acquisition whatsoever, he was snapped up by Borussia Dortmund in the summer for a reason though and if you sign him in FIFA Ultimate Team then you definitely won’t regret it.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a must have player for any FUT 14 Bundesliga build.
