Since the WNBA was first added to the game back in NBA 2K20, 2K Sports has continued to keep pushing forward with its focus on the WNBA, and this latest move to feature a female cover star for the very first time highlights the companies continued focus to keep pushing and forefront the women’s game in its NBA 2K video game series.
There will also be an additional region specific variant of the game in Japan where players will be able to purchase a special version of the Standard Edition that features Washington Wizards Rui Hachimura, the first ever Japanese player to be drafted in the first round and also the first Japanese player to ever reach the NBA Playoffs.
