Whenever a new game is released, people are always quick to search for exploits, and this is certainly no different with the latest Pokémon themed mobile game, Pokémon TCG Pocket.
Pokémon TCG Pocket recently received its official worldwide release, and players have been quick to come up with theories over potential exploits and pack methods to help maximise your returns.
The ‘bent pack’ method is one such potential exploit, whereby some packs are visually different from the others, featuring crimpled corners, just as they might if you were to pick them up from a shop, or how they might sometimes appear when you remove them from a booster tin.
Is there any validity to the claims that packs with bent corners will provide you with a greater chance of receiving something good though? Probably not. It’s a fun thought though, and is something to potentially look out for when you’re playing the game that might help you wile away a few extra minutes in your quest to avoid your responsibilities and seek out that dopamine hit of packing a shiny Charizard or whatever other rare Pokémon you might be seeking out in the game.
